Quality Control

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We follow industry-proven quality assurance practices to ensure that every forged component consistently meets defined customer specifications and functional performance requirements. Quality begins at the raw material stage, where incoming materials are verified for chemical composition, mechanical properties, certification compliance, and full traceability to heat and supplier sources before being released for production.

Throughout the forging process, we maintain controlled process planning and real-time monitoring of critical parameters such as billet temperature, forging pressure, reduction ratios, and cooling rates to ensure repeatability and prevent defects. Forging simulations and process design tools are applied at the development stage to optimise metal flow, grain structure, die filling, and dimensional stability , reducing development risk and improving first-pass quality during trials and production ramp-up.

Quality assurance is reinforced through in-process inspections and final verification, using precision measurement systems including CMMs, profile measurement, and laser scanning for dimensional accuracy. Metallurgical testing, hardness checks, and appropriate non-destructive testing (NDT) methods are employed to identify internal or surface anomalies and ensure structural integrity where required.

PROCEDURES

All quality activities are governed by documented procedures, control plans, and defined inspection methods , supported by calibrated measurement systems and trained personnel. We actively drive continual improvement and defect prevention through data analysis, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and process optimisation initiatives aimed at reducing variation, improving yield, and enhancing long-term process stability.

These practices enable us to deliver reliable, consistent, and high-performance forged components, while supporting our customers with stable supply, predictable quality, and continuous value improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
